Gothic Prince Inspired Street Style Look

So as you can tell from the title I tried to go for a sophisticated look while still having that street goth edgy vibe to It, I accomplished this by having a classic white shirt underneath my black sweatshirt with a graphic white print from front to back, and just to add more cool to this look I added my faux leather biker jacket which I think worked really well with this outfit. Some side notes with this look the sweatshirt Is actually a long sleeve t-shirt that is made from a thicker material that makes It feel like a sweater or jumper which Is perfect for this cold weather In London, also don't worry about getting the exact same white shirt you can use any classic formal white shirt that fits.

Inspired T-Shirt Design by Xrnzz

So before I get into this weeks post I'm just gonna fill you In on whats gone on and what will go on concerning my blog for the time being, In case you didn't know I am a student at university I study illustration at UAL: LCC and I started the second year of my course this monday and It's been really hectic with a lot of work and deadlines already but I want to keep my blog updated with a post every week so from now on you can expect a blog post every friday along with mini ootd posts, and I'm going to try my best to stick to that but the bright side to me being back at uni Is that you can also expect a lot more drawings and design being posted every now and again on my Instagram and sometimes on this blog, so now that that has been sorted we can move on to more interesting things.

I've finally pushed myself to get one of my designs printed onto a t-shirt and I'm quite happy with the result, mixing art and fashion Is something I love doing and I hope to create my own streetwear brand eventually so this Is just a very crude example of the sought of stuff I would be creating, the whole conception came from me not finding the kind of clothes that I wanted online or the brands that would create those kind of edgy statement clothing were too expensive such as HBA(hood by air) and I saw a lot of these really creative tees with brand parody logo's and thought that the idea was really cool so I attempted It, the deigns were created using photoshop and the quality of the print Is really good, and the place I got It printed Is called Bags of Love only God knows why -__- *humour*.
I would love to know what you guys think of the design wether you think It's lame or dope leave a comment below and of course you can check out my social media pages to keep updated on my posts

Graphic But Simple Streetwear Look (Photos By Rochelle Voh)

I'm just gonna start off by saying yes I'm wearing Criminal Damage after my very public declaration to cut down on the amount of CD brand clothing that I style myself with however I did this shoot a little while ago before my previous post so I decided to get this one out of the way so that I can officially start my Criminal Damage embargo next week, now that I've addressed my extremely  contradictory actions lets continue.

So this look Is literally my way of showing that you can stand out, and look good without throwing too much into one outfit, I feel like nowadays people try way too hard to stand out and I always like to keep It simple cause I believe that less Is more, this Is something that Is evident In design, and also fashion so this look Is just an example of that, the outfit Is made up of muted colours and by that I mean black + white like In most of my other posts but the main focus Is all on the graphic t-shirt from CD It's a really loud all over print which I picked cause I'm obsessed with  monochrome crap.
Since I know that the focus Is going to be on my t-shirt I kept everything out very basic jet black skinny jeans, ripped though just to add a bit more character and I end It with monochrome b+w Nike Theas because they're in my opinion one of there most slickest,  simple and beautifully designed sneakers.
I hope this has given you guys a little taste of how you can stand out, show character, and personality, without wearing Joseph's technicolor dream coat *humour* a lot of people criticise people who like to dress in b+w and accuse them of playing it safe, or having no personality or looking to gothic I cant speak for everyone's choices for wearing monochrome but I personally have always loved wearing black I think It's a very smart colour It has those kind of connotations, people wear It when they want to be taken seriously or respected, It's also very bold It lets people notice you without looking like you want to be noticed and I've seen many people show plenty of personality In their monochrome attire which Is something I try to do all the time with my outfits which shows that there are many ways to show who you are in your clothing besides colour, such as style, design, prints ect...

My Sophisticated but Casual, Simplistic but Dark Streetwear Style (Photos taken by Rochelle Voh)

So this post Is very significant to me because I came to a realisation of how important fashion has become to me In very short amount of time I seriously see It as a form of self expression, an efficient way to tell people who you are without saying a word you can express a statement, opinion, mood,  and things you love or hate.
This Is the sought of thing that drives my style process, picking an outfit to wear or what clothes to buy Is entirely based on how I feel, what represents my personality and what I specifically think Is cool which would be different to what others consider to be cool but thats a good thing as It's how you differentiate yourself from other peoples style.
I find this a lot more fun than frantically searching for the latest trends In order to look up to date and "trendy" as this Is essentially telling you what most people are wearing and Is suggesting that you should be wearing It too which makes fashion seem very bland and robotic rather than free and expressive.
The only reason I'm including this Is to let people know my take on fashion and an insight on how I see my style, but that concludes the serious part of this blog post.

Now to the fun part this look Is almost all Asos brand clothing, the main focus Is clearly the long sleeve t-shirt with X on the square marble print on It, as soon as I saw this there was like an instant connection and I immediately thought "X is for Xrnzz" for the title of this blog post before I'd even bought It because I'm lunatic *humour* I'm wearing my hype ripped skinny jeans again which I didn't like at first but now they're really growing on me, and this black Asos bomber jacker Is my new best friend *humour* the only other thing I'm wearing that Isn't Asos brand apart from the sneakers Is my very cool faux leather backpack which is actually from New Look. so basically only half the outfit Is asos branded idc -_- (links to all this monochrome moody garbage down below *humour*)

Finally summer Is over and It's the start of autumn winter which Is great because I can finally go out In all black without people thinking I'm crazy, or putting myself at risk of a heat stroke *humour*
so for this episode I'm basically giving you a glimpse of the look I'm going for and the sought of things I'm getting into for the coming winter, as you can probably see I'm going back to a more moody, cold look with a lot of simplistic monochrome outfits with graphic white on black prints so sadly you wont be seeing my charlie brown stuff for a while or at least that often.
In addition to my wardrobe getting moodier I've now found a new best friend In the bomber jacket *humour* like when I was younger I used to find It annoying switching from summer attire to winter attire after getting used to just wearing t-shirts I had to switch to wearing an ugly jacket my dad picked out for me which would always be 465x too big *humour* because african parents always think you're going to grow into things -__- but now I actually get excited when I think about the different jackets I can style with my outfits that not only function well but look cool.
Now the last little piece of info of what you'll be seeing on my blog or in this case wont be seeing on my blog Is less Criminal Damage, It's quite clear from looking at my blog, or social media that CD just gets my style and they produce a lot of the dark, edgy, cool stuff that I'm into but believe It or not I'm actually into a few other brands which Is what you'll be seeing more of on my blog.

My CXIMINVL DVMVGE X Charlie Brown Collection PT2 (Photos Taken by TIJAE)

So this Is the second outfit I organised with the clothes from the Criminal Damage colab with Peanuts/ Charlie Brown the way this outfit came to fruition was actually by experimenting with different combos as I didn't just want to present each item of clothing as It Is In each post as It's not very creative and since this Is a street style blog I always try to put effort in styling the outfits that I do posts on, so originally I was just going to do the snoopy t-shirt and wrap the basic black + white check shirt around my waist to go for that classic grunge summer look, however I had a crazy thought that I could use my sweatshirt from the PT1 post instead and I originally thought It would look ridiculous but I actually liked the outcome so much that I changed the look, anyway long story short this Is the result and I liked that I was able to combine other parts of the collection into this outfit as It definitely makes It more interesting , and i hope to continue this "trend" when able. I'm glad that I get to show you guys the more fun side to my style as usually I come across more dark and serious with my style of clothing but I these kind of stuff too.

CXIMINVL DVMVGE X Peanuts Comic Stripe T-Shirt: This Is another one of my favourite pieces In the peanuts collection, the comic book print just looks so awesome, and really appropriate considering that Charlie Brown was originally a comic strip, so to use the actual artwork from the comics was a really cool, and clever design choice that translates really well on a t-shirt, but as much as I love the comic print I feel as though the back print with the word snoopy written Is my favourite part of It and the print Is such a good quality it's got a latex type feel to it so you know it'll last, and I just think that snoopy Is the coolest little character and having that written above the double zero makes me feel like the coolest little character in existence *humour* It just makes sense as snoopy Is a main character within the charlie brown universe which Is why I think It's dope that they created a really cool t-shirt design around him, this Is definitely one of my favourite t-shirts I own not just In the "Charlie Brown collection" but In general.

CXIMINVL DVMVGE X Peanuts Crown Sweatshirt: I already spoke about how incredibly awesome I think this sweatshirt Is In my first post about the collection to I'm just going to briefly say that my thoughts have not changed I still love the print design, the quality of the sweatshirt It really good, and I know have a really cool way to style an outfit with It, so now I can wear It with out actually wearing It, but If this satisfactory info I'm putting a link to my previous post on this here.
